Susan Youngman has a Master's degree in School and Community Psychology. Now retired, Ms. Youngman worked as a school psychologist in Michigan, Texas and North Carolina, where she provided Irlen® screenings in her schools. Susan is a Licensed Psychological Associate in North Carolina. In addition to providing Irlen® screenings and diagnostics, Susan is able to conduct psychological evaluations and QEEG's.
Fred Youngman has a Master's degree in counseling. He has 20 years of experience as a Social Studies teacher in Michigan and Texas, 25 years of experience as a high school counselor in North Carolina and more than 45 years of experience as a coach. Mr. Youngman is currently retired, but continues to conduct Irlen® Screener trainings a few times a year.
Fred and Susan have two adult children. Their son, Josh, is a nurse. Their daughter, Carly, is a counselor.
Fred and Susan Youngman were trained as Irlen® Screeners by Helen Irlen in 1988 and as Irlen® Diagnosticians in 1998. They find the Irlen® work they do extremely rewarding!
